Beck Lane is a multi-medium figure, portrait & abstract painter whose work can be found at several venues & galleries around Sarasota. Beck's wholly unique figure & portrait work is primarily based on historically significant, black & white photographs that the artist develops into colorful & energetic paintings & portfolios with interconnecting themes. At Art Ovation Beck will be showing entries to her latest painting endeavor: "The Frida Project" - a portfolio of 55 portraits of Frida Kahlos. During her time at AO, the artist will focus on developing a 12ft long, Frida-themed canvas along with Sarasota graffiti & mural artist Fndmntls .
