Many of my paintings are done from what I see in my own neighborhood within walking distance to a canal, park, golf course, pond and even my own back yard. My reference photos and paintings will be from these environs but students are also welcome to bring their own. It’s more about how you paint than what you paint. I choose poetry and creativity over correctness and am willing to change course as my painting progresses. We’ll focus on using a loose, colorful and expressive painting technique. Skill and confidence will follow while putting pizazz into your paintings. This will be a fun, easy going, workshop where you can’t have too much fun. Each student will get ample personal guidance.
